The stated goal is to enforce 'biblical gender roles'.

Augh. I don't know where to begin.
They don't even dignify the program by using "Home Economics", which has it's own baggage but a respectable pedigree.
If I had time to leaf through my 'Women, Gender and Science' texts I would find the name of the woman who started the first Home Economics program (which included sciencse like biology and chemistry and their practical applications) - wikipedia has failed me.
