Thoughts on Star Wars

dickensI was a big fan when the first three movies came out. When 4-6 were re-released prior to 1, I went and saw them all. I even teared up a bit hearing the theme music in a theatre for the first time in years.
But the story in my head was so much more complex than the one I saw on the screen when I watched them again as an adult.
I did see all three of the new movies, and it made it worse. It seemed like they robbed the originals of even the nuances they DID have.

omnifarious posted a link to a bit of Star Wars fic/backstory right about the time resolute posted the "Personal Canon" meme.
I think I may have to add this http://www.morningstar.nildram.co.uk/A_New_Sith.html to my ideas about the Star Wars universe. It re-looks at 4 based on what happened at the end of 3.
