dickensI spent a surprising amount of time this evening cutting butter into 8 oz chunks to store in the freezer. This is all my brother's fault.
See, my brother works for a dairy. They make cheese. They don't make butter. So why is it his fault?
There was a conference, and a silent auction, and he bid on a 20 lb cube of Hope Creamery butter ("it's the best butter" said the dormouse...) and he won. It looked like a mini-borg-cube.
Last Thursday, I agreed to take not quite a 1/3 of the butter home with me. And tonight I nearly killed my hands hacking through it. (No, a hot knife really doesn't go through THAT much butter that easily.)
