Tidbits from my week
Jan. 4th, 2007 08:52 pmThe best news of the week, the fluid in dad's lungs did not contain cancer cells. This was particularly welcome since mom initially understood/was told that they did find cancer and we thought the worst for about 24 hours.
I had an interview with Ameriprise for a training development position, they'll be doing call-backs for 2nd interviews the end of the month. It sounds like an interesting job and a reasonable place to work. I would LOVE to go back to commuting by bus.
Loki (that's my cat in case you haven't encountered him before) lost some weight in the last two months (1.5-2 lbs for a 14 lb cat) and after many bloodtests and an ultra-sound the good news is they don't see anything wrong with his liver or obstructing anything. Unfortunately, that means no diagnosis. I'll be talking to his vet tomorrow to get more info.
