smferris and I have been taking some time off and went to Minnehaha park today for a picnic, there was also lying on the grass on a blanket and walking down to the falls and up out of the valley.

My not-so-profound realization of the day is that grapes should always be cold and should not be removed from the bunch. What brought this on: My grandparents lived near Minnehaha so we went there often while visiting. Lunch was always open faced sandwiches (Swedish you know...) and grapes, usually there were also sugar wafer cookies and pop selected from a convenient store on the way. For some reason, grandma always took the grapes off the bunch and after an hour in a picnic bag (no cooler) they were nowhere near as appealing to me.

While we were eating lunch this afternoon, I saw a little girl dancing on the stage near us. If I had a time machine I could probably watch me doing the same thing. Probably even the same steps. At 4 or 5, technique is all in the future.

It was a great couple of hours, I wish we had the time to do that more often.
